A friend suggested this restaurant to us, saying that the new management has made significant improvements, and we can confirm that they were correct.
I went to a birthday party with 24 people, and we were seated at three tables of eight.
Food is good and waiters are friendly. But you have to wait close to 1 hour for your food. We went there 3 times in the last month and it was always like that. I guess they don't have enough staff in kitchen. So good restaurant overall but don't go if you are very hungry or with kids.
I had bought a Groupon for restaurant Giorgio and decided to try it for lunch instead of using it for supper. We arrived at about 12:30 and the restaurant had a few business people in it. We were seated quickly and given a chance to look over their menu. They had some very reasonably priced lunch specials but we decided to order from their regular menu.Nadia, our waitress came by with the water and was ready to take our orders. My wife ordered their Escargots a la Giorgio $(8.00,) while I opted for their Fried Calamari $(9.00).The escargots were nicely prepared in a rose sauce with mushrooms and covered with nicely melted cheese. My calamari came nicely fried, golden brown and had a nice and tasty dipping sauce. My only criticism would have been that the calamari could have been bigger. For our mains, my wife ordered their Veal Parmasean $(29.00) and I ordered their Veal Filet $(29.00) My wife's plate came with a nice amount of spaghetti with tomato sauce. Her veal was very soft and nice sized and covered with a golden colored cheese. My order came with nicely grilled fresh vegetables and spaghetti with tomato sauce. There were only 2 pieces of milk-fed veal tenderloin medallions (not that large) but prepared very well and covered with portobello mushrooms, onions, cream and demi-glace sauce. The sauce was delicious. For dessert, I ordered a regular coffee and a piece of cheesecake to try. It was very good.Gorgio's has been around for 25 years. They open daily at 11:00 am for the lunch crowd. They have no delivery service but you can order in advance and pick it up yourself. Best of all, don't forget to bring your own wine. I'm sure that on week-ends they are very busy, so call ahead to make your reservation. Enjoy!
