Le Poutine Laval

Wow!!! This place is definitely worth a detour before heading to Montreal. My wife had "la Poutine bar," which I highly recommend, and I tried "la Mexicaine." Both were absolutely delicious! There are plenty of options to choose from, so just go and check it out!

This restaurant in Laval is truly a hidden gem! They offer over 30 different varieties of poutine, all of which are excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience. Don’t miss out on the smash burger—it’s a must-try!

I ordered two nights in a row because we had a craving, spending around $50 through Uber. On the first night, my order was canceled after waiting for over an hour. When I contacted Uber about it, they claimed the driver had broken down, which I suspect was not true. The following night, I decided to give it another try since I had a credit. My Uber driver waited for 30 minutes before letting me know that the restaurant wouldn’t honor my order. I called the poutine bar directly, and the person I spoke to said he was very busy and prioritizes in-house customers over delivery orders. He assured me he would fulfill my order if I was patient, so I agreed to wait. Ten minutes later, the restaurant canceled my order again. My driver mentioned that this happens frequently with this place. It’s clear that the owner doesn’t care about their struggling business. They ignore Uber, Skip, and DoorDash orders. If you miraculously receive your order, there’s a risk of becoming ill, as other patrons have reported. Save your money and avoid this restaurant; you’ll regret it otherwise.

Had supper there last night. Eric was amazing! Polite, friendly, and extremely helpful with info Re: the weekly events. Couldn't ask for better service. English or French no problem. The food was A1 excellent to the chef.. Place was super clean. Will definitely be going back. Thank you Eric.
