Lovely little tea rooms in the crooked house Lavenham. booking recommended. lovely staff. sandwiches are amazing....
Lovely and quaint tea room. Just right for afternoon tea. You only get one choice each of sandwiches but as they are much larger than usual, and if 2 of you can do a swop, it wasn't a problem. The scones are amazing and equally large, with wonderful clotted cream and jam. We had to bring our cake home as we were so full. Definitely worth a visit but best to book.
Oven fresh tasty scenarios, homemade jams and cakes, and a very welcoming and friendly owner, all in a charming scraped old house. really can not recommend this wonderful tea room enough. Thank you!
We have often been to Munnings tea room at Lavenham and have never been disappointed, yesterday was just the same. The food fresh and delicious, tea plentiful. It was special as we were sent upstairs for a few minutes because we were early. A magical place. Totally wonky, windows going one way floor going another, the table showing up how delightfully crooked everything was. A very special visit for us. Thank you.
