This traditional fish and chip shop offers some of the best fish and chips in town. The chips are flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the fish is moist and not greasy. The burgers are exceptional, with thick, juicy patties that cover the bun. The sandwich bar is also worth trying, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Jan's is definitely my go-to fish and chip shop in Albury, and it's well worth the visit. If you need help finding it, Google can provide directions.
I believe that ordering takeout is the way to go at this restaurant. They are without a doubt one of the top fish and chips spots in town. The portion sizes are generous, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly.
It is a great place to get many fish and chips. the employees are always on the go and the price is also good. Food: 5/5 service: 5/5 atmosphere: 3/5 .more
I brought fish and chips and they were burned, they were disgusting. food: 1/5 service: 1/5 atmosphere: 1/5 .more
I went there about two weeks ago and asked for a simple hamburger with cheese and a small chip. I asked the girl to place the meatpatty as much as possible while cooking. ten minutes later I looked up and saw the girl a hamburger in a white paper bag. she put the hamburger on the bank and pressed it with all her weight really hard on her and crushed it. she then stopped it and showed the male hired how flat it was, very proud of herself. she had just flattened my hamburger completely, instead of just the meat patty. I didn't want the hamburger to be replaced. I think I was shocked. I could just get out that I just wanted the meat patty to be flattened, not the whole hamburger. when I came home, the hamburger had turned around to mix the tomato and salat looked like wet slop, I can't really express how bad it looked. all wet ingredients (tomates, soße, salat, butter) had dipped into the bungalow, which was wet and fell apart. it was absolutely disgusting. I almost broke. I threw it in the mull. what a waste of $9. the chips were overloaded with salt. they went into the garbage, a waste of another $4.50. next time I want a hamburger, I'm going to mcdonald. their hamburgers are not the best, but at least they know what they will get, which will not be a wet lump of disgusting infinable musk.
