They provided great cooperation and flexibility to help us have a great Mother's Day celebration. Great food made to order. They had space for our group of 8. Only drawback was that it was loud when it was crowded but once other tables emptied, it was quiet and calm.
I had a really nice salad there, good service and relaxed atmosphere. I plan on returning soon!
Ate here with a group before attending Mic Drop. Our server was not very good. The hostess sat us promptly then supplied enough reading material to both confuse us and make us wonder what we missed. When our food did arrive it came all at once so the folks that didn't finish their salads had to hurry because the table was small and crowded. The cocktails were imaginative and tasty. The food was ok. Maybe I'll try them again in a year or so if they are still there.
First time experience was very poor. The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is very appealing. The drink menu is very diverse. Everything was impressive until I got my food. Analyzing the menu and drink menu I assumed it would be fresh homemade food. The “1/2” pound wings came straight from a Tyson frozen chicken bag. The ceviche was a stale tortilla chip with canned tuna on top. The Carne pizza looked like it was a Digorno pizza for double the price. One positive is my Sierra Nevada was ice cold and delightful. The one thing that 1856 did not make....
