1900 Barker Bakery And Cafe - Lawrence

Tiny indoor shop space but delicious pastries and breakfast items. Not impressed with the coffee or drinks I get there but that may just be a personal preference. I wish they had a tad more indoor seating but they're very limited and use what space they have for the kitchen which was the right decision.

This place is a shade. lawrence is so happy to have a world-class bakery in such a small town. one of the best bakeries in the country. perfect crispy, tasteful crust and soft sponge interiors. the building is modest - they focus only on pushing out the highest quality brot to die.

This place is insanely great! Great coffee and phenomenal pastries in a way I never dreamed possible in my home state. Nice, simple decor too and plenty of parking on the street if you walk a very short distance, lazy bones.

I wanted to walk away with absolutely every single item… but didn’t I was able to try their ham and cheese croissant (best I’ve ever had especially warmed up) and a chocolate Nutella cookie. This place is a gem! Wish I lived closer!

My coffee was strong, and my pain au chocolat was fantastic, as was my wife's lemon cream croissant. The cinnamon thing I got my son was okay, but not as good as a proper cinnamon roll. I would definitely come back if I'm in Lawrence again.
