India Palace - Lawrence

Awesome food. India Palace is a family run restaurant for the last 20+ years by Balar his family who hail originallyfrom the Punjab region of India. The food reflects the Punjabi influences. The 1/2 size Palace Mixed Grill along with Palak Panner Naan were tasty. Ngwang has been a mgr there for many many years is a great server. He is friendly, courteous treats everyone like family.

What a wonderful restaurant! The food is absolutely amazing. I will definately go there everytime I am in Lawrence.

I’m a contractor whom India Palace called for some weekend work in their kitchen. I’m writing this review because one of the kitchen staff made me some hot milk tea for my apprentice and myself. If was delicious and much appreciated. I think the decor could be updated, but the food and service are excellent and good, respectively.

Excellent food in a friendly environment. It's been awhile since I had the lunch buffet, but the dinner menu is what you'd expect. They do a great job with chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. The appetizers are also great. Service is attentive without being intrusive. In Lawrence this is my go-to for Indian and one of my favorites overall.

Happened to be in Lawrence and stopped by. The korma and palak paneer were sooo good! Loved the flavors and when I asked for spicy, it was! Will make the drive from KC again, as I haven't found a place I like in the city yet. Really nice service as well.
