Sweet Grace Heavenly Cakes - Lawrence

I ordered a tres leches cake from here yesterday, and it was mostly whipped cream with very little cake.

They have very bad service with us customers and that is very bad because we are the people who buy their products

I went there to design a birthday cake. Poor customer service and no patience at all. They gave me a hard time and they didn’t understand my requirements for the cake design. I had a drawn out image for the cake I wanted and they drew theirs completely different than what I had designed. So I decided not to follow through with them. I’m sure their cakes taste delicious though too bad they scared me off.

I order a cake for my mother 70th birthday, they did different color on the cake and besides that the cake wasn’t what I ordered, I said not filling only wet with pineapple juice and they did the opposite and on top of that the cake was OLD TASTE OLD AND THE FROSTING WAS PUERTO RICAN FROSTING, and was sooo hard and old. WORSE CAKE.

I sampled three different slices of cake: Pineapple, Guava, and Chocolate. Having tried Dominican cake from nearly every bakery in Lawrence, I can confidently say this one ranks among the top three. Although I came across some negative reviews, my experience suggests that they have significantly improved. A friendly lady took the time to describe each cake available by the slice. The flavors and textures were outstanding and authentic. I highly recommend giving them a try—you won’t be disappointed!
