Thai Diner - Lawrence

I went to the restaurant to pick up my food this evening. While waiting, a waitress came in and out of the kitchen a few times, but I didn't bother her because she seemed busy. She ignored me the whole time, but I didn't make a fuss about it. However, when a white couple walked in to pick up their food, she suddenly became very friendly, asking how she could help them and reassuring them that their order would be ready soon. She then rushed back into the kitchen, ignoring me when I tried to make eye contact with her. A few minutes later, she addressed the white couple again, telling them their food would be ready soon. I was shocked. Thankfully, another employee came out of the kitchen and asked for my name, as my food had been sitting there the whole time. I don't like to bring race into things, but as an African/Black man, the situation was very clear. Despite being a regular customer (the food is okay), I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I absolutely love the food at this restaurant. The staff always greet me with a friendly smile. I will definitely keep coming back to this amazing restaurant! They offer takeout service for lunch at a price range of $10-20 per person.

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but it comes at a high cost. A serving of curry costs nearly $20, yet the portion size is disappointingly small – just a small teacup's worth of curry with only a couple of tiny pieces of chicken. While the curry is tasty, the price seems excessive for such a small serving. In terms of service, delivery is available. The average price per person ranges from $30 to $50.

I highly recommend trying the Thai Crab Rangoon and Pad Thai Noodles, as they were both delicious. Additionally, there is plenty of parking available, with a free parking lot for diners to use. Overall, I had a fantastic meal and would definitely return to this restaurant in the future.

Love having Thai food in Lawrence. They do a big take out business. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
