The Italian Kitchen - Lawrence

I'm not sure of the correct spelling, but you have to try Chrispelly's! Everything they make is from scratch, so there might be a wait, but it's definitely worth it.

Great food, love this place missing my crispellies. So disappointed not open for feast.

Half of the reason I returned from California was to eat at this restaurant again (the other half was, of course, to visit family). The crispelli are truly unique—it's savory fried dough with a touch of anchovy for added saltiness in the center, making it an authentic Sicilian delight. Make sure to order them by the dozen and enjoy them hot (though they’re still tasty cold the next day, just like pizza!). The arancini, which are fried rice balls filled with chicken and tomato sauce, are also perfection. Be sure to visit soon before they retire and take a piece of Italy away from Lawrence, MA.

I absolutely love this restaurant and will definitely miss it. I'm excited to indulge in some crispellis and rice balls tonight. I just wish I could buy a whole bunch and freeze them for later!

Absolutely, I make the trip to the North End of Lawrence just for a rice ball with sauce. It's truly authentic Italian cuisine!
