WOW, I usually don't eat shrimp, but I tried the bacon wrapped shrimp and I loved it!!! I loved it so much I called two days later and order more! This is my only place to eat when we dive out, I just can't say enough good things about Strikers Steakhouse. If you haven't been here, you've really disappeared. Great food and wonderful service.
Our waitress was very professional. The food was good once it finally got to our table. Unfortunately after my second glass of tea our waitress came and explained that when she submitted our order the printer in the kitchen ran out of paper. When the paper was replaced no one checked and our order was dropped. She explained that the manager would be coming around to our table. That never happened. This is the second time in two years that this has happened. We left a 20% tip for the waitress as the problem was not caused by her. I will really have to think about weather I will return.
The waiter we had was great. He was cordial and professional. He was also attentive and friendly. Parking was easy with a nice sized lot. We ordered the filet mignon, which was at “market price” that turned out to be $45/filet. We thought that was reasonable for a steakhouse. Our steak was ordered Med Rare and came out Rare. I’m not big on bloody meat and this was deep red throughout. So they missed the mark on preparation. It was also quite salty. The flavor was excellent though. My wife had fried okra along with her filet mignon. I’ve never had tougher, more stringy okra before. The strands get caught in your teeth. Not sure what happened here with the okra but it was tough and very stringy. We both had the loaded baked potato which was fine. Overall a decent dining experience but oh my goodness steer clear of the fried okra, it was horrible. Go with the asparagus or a salad instead. We skipped dessert and drinks option for a club soda instead.
My $100 dollar bill for payment magically turned into a $10 when I put it in the check book to pay. They refused to make things right saying I’m a liar in spite of my two family members witnessing the $100 dollar bill
At the bar Nora served me a Ghost Margarita It is the best cocktail I’ve had in quite some time Had the fried shrimp
