Okay, I need to be upfront here - I was raised on 'hippy food'.

This is a review for the catering business, not the cafe/restaurant. Big Harvest is my go-to caterer for both work events and private events/parties.

Found on Elgin Street, Big Harvest do good simple things.

The place was packed when we got to this place, however, the wait time was not that long! The server did a good job with our order but she was not very attentive! I ordered pancakes with strawberry toppings but it came out with banana as well. I did not want to complain so I just scraped the banana off of my pancakes. The coffee was not as hot as my husband would like it to be. Food was good! Overall, the experience was a pleasant one!

Pretty pleased with my visit. Walked in to place a carry out order. The receptionist was pleasant and able to take my order right away. While she did mention that she was new, she stayed positive and pleasant as she tried to figure out how to input the order. She did ask another lady for help on two different instances. They were both very professional and the interaction was a respectful training opportunity. I could tell by the employee's interaction that the management is doing it right. My Mom really enjoyed her food also.
