Waffle House - Lawrenceville

Absolutely the best waffle I've ever had! Walter and the server Khori made my experience incredibly enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, and the food was fantastic. I will definitely be returning!

One of my brothers sat at a full table and attempted to clean one himself, but the staff didn't even allow him to do so. I can't believe such poor service exists. I don’t expect to be coddled, but I also don’t think it's fair for me to have to do the staff's job. If the server had been polite, I might have been willing to help, but she had a bad attitude and continued to complain about us after we left, as my friends who had already ordered overheard. I generally try to maintain a positive outlook and rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was truly awful.

I went to the Waffle House on Buford Drive in Lawrenceville, GA, to place a to-go order for my family. The wait was quite long, so I took the opportunity to read over the menu. I discovered that a 10% service fee is added to all takeout orders. When it came time to pay and sign the receipt, I asked the server if the service fee was included in the final price. Since I didn't have the receipt in front of me, I wasn't sure. She told me it wasn't included, leading me to add an extra tip. While waiting for my food, I revisited the menu and realized that the service fee had indeed been added. While I have no issue with a service charge, I believe Waffle House needs to be more transparent about this policy—specifically by clearly indicating it on the receipt and ensuring that servers provide honest answers when asked about it.

Hands down worst waffle house experience EVER! On the way home with the family stopped and thought we would get a light bite. Simple order everything came wrong and the atmosphere was not welcome. Guess it's good that there are many of them because this is not revisited.

I went last weekend and the waiter that helped me with my order got part of my order incorrect. I ordered two burgers with sauteed onions and I've had this at another location. This waiter put everything on my burger and I was baffled because the onions were not sauteed like I asked. I still left a tip because I'm not heartless, but I won't be coming back to this particular location. Unless this is fixed. Oh might I add it wasn't the least bit busy as you could clearly hear what I asked for as if you couldn't they could have asked me to write it down.
