Casona Del Cielo - Laytonville

This restaurant has become one of my regular stops when I am in the area. The food is excellent, fresh, and served in generous portions. The homemade tortilla chips are plentiful and a definite highlight. They offer a selection of half a dozen beers on tap. The service is friendly, but can be a bit slow at times since there are usually only 3-4 staff members handling everything. Despite some older negative reviews on Facebook, I found the restaurant to be consistently wonderful during my visits in 2018-2019.

The service may be slow, but the dining experience is fantastic.

The service at this restaurant was excellent. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks, and then another 40 minutes for our food. Unfortunately, the food was incorrect and we had to wait for a new order. By the time the correct order arrived, we were very hungry and tired from the long wait. The server apologized for the mistake, but we felt that the service was lacking. The food was delicious, but the overall experience was disappointing. We would not recommend dining here.

We loved this place.. what a surprise!!! the food was supurb and homemade.. service was great! enchiladas and fajitas are great.. the spanish rice was great.. the ches toreados the bomb! the beans scrumptious! the guac fresh! the decor simple but cultural! loved it!

Slow service, had to get my own menu's. The waitress didn't write our order down, had to ask us twice what we wanted, 25 minutes later got the order wrong, food was cold. No beer on tap, no shredded beef, no ground beef, no avacado, no sour cream,chips and salsa was stale. 35.00 for two people down the drain. No paper towels in the men's room and a very dangerous sidewalk with no lights on the steps. Don't waste your time here. Taco bell in Willits would be worth the drive.
