Relish - Laytown-bettystown-mornington

Lovely setting, and lovely staff who really make an effort and look after the customer. We have been here a number of years ago and generally enjoyed the experience. On this occasion the food was very disappointing. Frozen products, for example chicken goujon and potato wedges frozen, mushy pease were dry and not fresh. This facility has many positives, but the food requires a bit of attention.

Not visited since the Pandemic and disappointed to see it has gone down market. Hardly any fresh food and a poor menu choice. A burger that was precooked and microwaved, a prawn cocktail from a packet, hardly anything was freshly prepared.Nearly 100 euros for lunch for three people. They need to up their game.

Beautiful walk on the beach followed by a wonderful breakfast in Relish. Sat outside to enjoy the weather and the views. Friendly, efficient service. The restaurant was spotless, the food was excellent and the smoothies were so refreshing. Good value for money too.

We got very dissapointed with our usual place and decided to try something else and we chose Relish as it's actually just across the road from us. They have a great back garden with direct view to the sea and also the inside of the restaurant is very fancy and classy. Food is very good and staff is always prompt in taking and bringing your order. Well done guys!
