The food was interesting and well prepared. I loved my truffle salad so thinly sliced on the antique Berkel slicer. They were having a lobster night a few days after we were there that I would have loved.Worth seeking out and if you drive there's a handy car park 100m up the road.
We had lunch here after visiting the Bonnard museum. There is an excellent daily lunch menu - 3 courses for €27.50 with coffee and a generous glass of unusually good wine. No choice - I had a delicious salad of sardines with an interesting curried dressing, followed by a a selection of perfectly cooked fish in an amazing broth and poire belle helene. My wife ate from a more expensive menu - good foie gras and duck. The wine list is really excellent - very varied and interesting with some real gems that one rarely sees and remarkably reasonably priced. Very popular with locals at lunch time. Comfortable dining room. The quality of the good here is excellent and far superior to the restaurants in the square up the street that seem more scenic.
Most enjoyable lunch with variety of formules and extensive wine list. Accomplished french cuisine in relaxed, comfortable setting. Milles feuilles was not up to the rest of the delicious dishes.
Cosy restaurant in the heart of cannet. Extraordinary plates with not commun flavours. Will be certainly back. Dishes are above certain Michelin restaurants. The wine list is amazing at reasonable prices.
Maybe the restaurant with the best value in the Cannes/Le Cannet area. That may explain why most, if not all, of the customers are locals. Great French cuisine with an appreciated touch of originality. Large portions, impressive wine list and attentive yet not obtrusive service.
