This is a good place for a fish-platter lunch and a glass of local wine. Be warned though that there is no on-site bathroom and they do not take any plastic. We had the 15.90 menu that was a reasonable deal, the oysters were a good size and delicious! Some of the reviews of this place complained that it is pricy for what you get. In 2017 the price of smoked fish rose by one third so that could have something to do with the portions. It's a good way to support local trade without breaking the bank and having a great lunch at the same time.
I love New Orleans cuisine, so when I saw this restaurant right down the street from my hotel, I had to try it.
We were attracted to this small hut on pilotis, for a tasting of eighteen. Maybe we've fallen wrong? cold reception, long waiting before telling us that there is no map and that you have to look at the menus on the door...The oysters have come inclined, so without water. Even at the time of settlement, we had a little reflection of the boss (?) who, seeing us wait, told another customer: "this goes, they are on vacation". Too bad because the place has real potential.
If you like seafood and an atypical setting, stop in this small hut that is pretty and or eat very well, the eightres and the bulots were excellent. The waitress is charming so don't stop at the reception a little drunk of the scaffold that is at the entrance
