La Source - Le Collet-de-Dèze

Perfect restaurent for a fency night. You are very welcome, the parking is large and the food is local and very delicious!! Cons: only one dish for vegetarian

Recommended by the owners of our nearby gite we were really pleased to have found La Source. It is set back in an uninspiring pull off on the D road between Ales and Florac so it would very easy to ignore, but there are frequent signs along the way. We enjoyed an excellent local menu and friendly service in English and French. Menu prices were not at all over the top with a 2 course set lunch menu from just 18 Euro. Food and menus were full of French character just right for a taste of the region.

Seems to be run by a couple, food was good not great by any means, but this area is a gastronomic desert so you sort of have to go with what you are given! Almost immediately on sitting at the table the owner hands us the menu and the wine list, then asks what we want to drink but I mean immediately, then says to me This is not a difficult decision! What do you want to drink? I was so taken aback and shocked at being spoken to in that manner I meekly asked for a couple of glasses of white, we have since been told he has a reputation for such rudeness so be prepared! Give as good as you get!!!!! Not like me ! Unfortunately there are no other places nearby that you can escape to having thrown his menu and wine list in his face

Quel plaisir ! ce restaurant propose tout ce dont le client a besoin ! une carte complète, un accueil dès plus agréable, des prix plus qu’abordables, un véritable délice qui nous a enchanté après une journée de voyage ! encore merci pour ce délicieux moment de partage et de gastronomie !

Etant de passage dans la région pendant nos vacances, nous sommes avons été tentés par ce Restaurant recommandé par plusieurs guide....Et ils ne se sont pas trompés !! Un cadre agréable avec sa petite terrasse ombragée, un service au top malgré le monde et que dire de la cuisine...un REGAL !! Bref vous l'aurez compris vous ne serez pas déçu et je le recommande !
