However tourist sights apart, this town is worth the detour for the food in La Croix d'Or. Classic Breton/French cuisine at a very affordable prix. The food is...delicious, honest, tasty, reasonable and generous. Worth a detour, but for us, worth the journey!
Excellent restaurant with professional happy waiting staff the food is great... Not an everyday restaurant but if you have something to celebrate this place will make your day special and wanted to go again. Just be careful to ask for your red meat more cooked...than usually, my duck breast was a bit row but the waitress did send it back to be cooked : Thank you to team La Croix d'Or we will come back when in the area.
Extensive menu with two price ranges for three courses, good selection of wines at reasonable price. Always enjoyed the dishes served
This was one of the best dinners of our month in France. We loved the menu at 25€, all delicious dishes in the French tradition: roasted scallops and foie gras for starters; roasted turbot and lamb ribs for mains.
Stay locally in a friend we gite here taken in our first night. it was nice, quiet (but it was the beginning of a bank holiday washing) the owner was also in front of the house, we think his wife was cooking in the kitchen. We...had 2 courses of very fresh food, with house wine (very drinkable) at a reasonable price. eating was all freshly cooked until perfection. next time we're in the opposite.
