The food was excellent and the service was great. We enjoyed very much and will be back in the port next time.
This restaurant is just a few minutes' walk from the ferry terminal and is open when many city restaurants are closed. It is based on an American diner and specializes in Burger and other Fast Food. The food is OK, but not very well presented. Service is... fast and seemingly friendly. When it was a weekday, the restaurant ran a two-for-one offer on burgers, from which my wife and I benefited. When recording the rather high bill we were surprised to see that both meals were charged. The waitress apologised during the interrogation and said it was a supervision; the place has ads on every table and menu press this offer, so it is difficult to believe that it was not aware. The bill has been corrected, but it has left a bad impression. My wife warned some other diners to check their bills as we left.
The place looks very nice. Real American Diner attitude. I tried the Beef Rib Steak. What a disappointment. I ordered medium wheel, my darling, but it was too rare. That would be acceptable if the quality of the steak was excellent. But half of the steak was not edible because of fat and tendons. The frits were also average and the corn flask was cold.
A good selection of products at reasonable prices especially if you choose the menu options. Ribbons are excellent
Located at the Mall of Vauban Docks Memphis Coffee stands out from afar. It's supposed to look like an American diner from the 50's, but the lavish use of aluminum sidings and pink and blue TL lamp takes it over the top. But the food...is definitely good. Big selection of burgers and related fare. However, the potatoe wedges are excellent: large, crunchy and well seasoned. And the desert (ice cream with a brownie in my case) tops it off. So worth visiting especially with children.
