Ristorante Al Dente - Le Havre

If they are another type of meal, then this restaurant will fit the bill, we came here to the off chance to get a table, it is extremely busy so best book in advance, word of advice would not book online I would call as they. do not seem to respond online, once in them enjoying the service of the staff was error-free.

I was staying at the wonderful Hotel Oscar down the street from this place-I wandered in at 7 when they opened-it was a modern sleek Italian restaurant withtake-out pizza, also. As soon as I walked in, I noticed no smells of baking dough/oregano/garlic, etc. A...warning to me-I should have left then-but, I did not-it was pouring rain and I did not want to go exploring. I ordered the Margherita-8 Euros 50 Cents. It came out WAY too quickly! Frozen Dough! and in a very small box, the size of a small American dinner plate. When I opened it back at the hotel, it was without oregano/basil, and it consisted of very cheap gooey cheese and a few drops of canned tomato sauce. Totally disgusting, and inedible. I threw it away, and finished off the wine and pastries in my room instead. Don't know how the restaurant was-but DO NOT order take-out pizza from this place!

The quality of products and dishes are excellent!! frankly nothing to say otherwise that we have eaten with really great pleasure!!! calamaro, pesce spada, milanese and ravioli octomare and the delicious tiramisu!!!! I recommend this restaurant and the staff very kind and sheerious indeed our sparkling wine glass has been badly overthrown by the server, it was alsotot replaced!!! with another bottle and not tightened with our own bottle as in certain restaurant I found it very boring!! I advise to reserve his table on Saturday night

I want to comment on this restaurant. in weekends in the corner we decided to go eat in this restaurant. the staff and the top the boss also when I bind certain comment I think that jealousy reigns in master in them. the quality of products and dishes are at the top! we are Neapolitan and it is difficult to find such a good restaurant even to betting. Pizza pasta and desserts are to fall on the ground. It's worth a hint thanks again for your warm welcome

In the weekend we discovered in the harbour, we wanted to eat Italian and especially pizza for my husband and son. After booking by phone, we arrive in this restaurant with modern and refined decoration. The server with the Italian accent leads us to our table.Italian radio in the high speakers, photos of Italian to the walls, the decor is planted. The menu is provided and the dishes are original. I never order pizza in the Italian restaurants for fear of being disappointed by the filling, but seeing the pizzas from the next table coming, I changed my mind! and what a good idea. our 3 pizzas (2 al dente and 1 quattro formaggi) were excellent!! Our 9-year-old son (difficile and with a bird's appetite) swallowed his pizza and complimented the waitress, which was very touched);-nothing to say on the desserts that were generous (1 homemade/coeur black chocolate cream and 2 Amarena's cheese cake). we went back charmed and filled. and we will return without hesitation, make a pizza, as soon as we return to Le Havre. On the other hand, and as some internet users pointed out, the owner of the place seemed to us cold and not smiling, but we did not have any worries during our passage, it was certainly a good day:-)
