Quaint wood building fro another era. This little restaurant was quite the find for us. Referred to us by friends. Starting off, service - impeccable. Wait staff were quick to seat us. Drinks were served and orders taken in a timely manner. Now the fun begins...The restaurant gets a lot of its offerings locally so whether its the mushrooms, cerf rouge or maple syrup, the food is fresh. I had the caramelized onion pottage. 10/10. All entres we of excellent quality and flavor. The main course, again were deliciously prepared and presented in an attractive manner. What is noteworthy is that on the tables no salt and pepper is seen. Then again none was needed as the dishes were seasoned to perfection. We spent more than 3 hours tasting, sharing and enjoying every morcel.I believe reservations are a must. The restaurant is also a must-do at least once.
Nice location, hotel very good looking and clean, nice and clean poolBUT: Surprisingly unfriendly staff.
We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant while on our way to Draguignan. We had the 39€ menu and the dishes we had were excellent. We had fish for a main dish and it was very good. The café gourmand is really exceptional ! All in all, a very nice experience.
The reviews for this property as a hotel looks awful and I can believe that. However I have only had lunch here and I was quite surprised for steak cooked on the BBQ, a good salad and helpful service. The place always seems to be full of locals which is always a good sign. The food was of good value but not gastronomic. If you are going to Chateaux Font du Broc or Chateaux Josselyne which is just two Km down the road this is a good place to stop off for a quick and inexpensive lunch. Staying overnight ...I have no idea.
