Atelier d'Avron prepares creative and delicious meals. I was impressed by the quality of the presentation and service, it was easily one of the best dinner I have enjoyed. Service was excellent and thoughtful, the menu was interesting and provided options that were both atypical and deeply enjoyable. On my visit, I tried the pigeon---the first I had done so---what struck me as most impressive about the meal was the accompaniments; the kitchen had prepared a serving of beet ice cream to complement the protein. It was an excellent addition that greatly enhanced the experience. In addition, the overall appearance of the restaurant is very nice, with a comfortable noise level and an austere, but beautiful visual setting. Finally, I must say that the restaurant appears to be a popular spot for local Parisians, which says a lot, so if you (I'm assuming you're a tourist as I was) are looking for a space with great character and ambience, look no further than Atelier d'Avron.
