If they are in le plessis robinson, they cannot miss the orangerie d’artagnan. very beautiful place, really good salted crepes and a friendly atmosphere.
Always a pleasure to come and dinner with friends or family! I come several times in this creamperie and it is always amusing to eat all these crepes with a pretty good inexpensive! I recommend to do with friends and family too!...Nice terrace, they will feel like in a very small French village.
A fantastic lunch on the terrace of the restaurant. great service, best crêpes outside the bretagne. booking is mandatory.
Very good food and service. They do not have a menu in English. However, even with limited French and with google translate, we had no problems figuring out what we wanted to eat. Truth be told that we were at the restaurant with our Parisian...friends, which made communication with the waitress easier, but ordering would not have been a problem. We sat out on a terrace, the outside is very lovely. Right next to the City Hall. After the meal we went up the little passage way to see it and look at the gardens. Apparently, the place is not just known for its crepes, but also ciders it serves. Definitely, great ciders! We tend to enjoy ciders as we travel in Europe, what we had at the d’Artagnan, was amazing. We also learned something new, turns out that cider is drank from a cup that resembles and Englisn tea cup, not beer glass or wine glass as we have encountered before. It is also served in a full bottle, or if order half, it comes in a cute jug. They also have bottles of different varieties, we tried other other type and it was very good. We started with a special drink they offer in a summer time, called Normande. It is served inside a small watermelon, and is made with rum, red wine and juice. It was refreshing, and fairly strong. We had a full meal of crepes, savory for our main course and sweet for desert. They make different types of crepes for each. We ordered, La Vegetarienne (mushrooms, cheese, home fries type potatoes, spinach tomatoes), La Guerandaise (chicken, mushrooms, home fries potatoes with an egg on top) and La Montagnarde (two different types of cheese, home fries potatoes and egg on top, it usually comes with ham, but we asked to hold it, since we don’t eat pork). As mentioned before, crepes tasted very good. They are thin, a bit crispy and plain. I felt that all of the dishes we ordered could have used more sauce. Everything tasted good, but was a bit dry. For desert we had Crepe sucre (sugar) simple and sweet. La Douceur (caramel sauce) and La Griottine (that was FANTASTIC! Cherries in cherry sauces with whipped cream and tiny chocolate chips). Overall, happy with our meal.
