Four of us dined here al fresco on a Friday lunchtime. The Plat du Jour menu was 3 courses including a half carafe of wine each was really excellent value, and one could understand why the cafe was busy. We thought it was a little gem! It was a help yourself cold buffet to start, with plenty of choice, mains we chose either duck in orange sauce, a whole trout or pork steaks. All were very good, and with plum pudding for desert we left feeling full up. Highly recommend. You won't get fancy food here but you will be well looked after and well fed.
Even though it was really busy and our French was not the best, we've been threated very friendly by the staff. We took the 3-course, the starter from the buffet was great, for the main-course you had different options. We took fish and it was delicious! For dessert again lots of options. The price was really affordable and I have to honestly give the best rating here!!
Very good meal and warm welcome, my daughter thanks you for the velvety chestnut mushrooms. See you.
Great one afternoon job to do again, the bosses are adorable. I strongly recommend
