Buchi Cafe Cubano - Leadville

I stopped by for a takeout lunch today, ordered the Cuban Mix sandwich and Avocado Salad. The sandwich was good. Nothing special, but enjoyable. My issue is the salad, pictured below. It is a half avocado, sliced thin, and a few slices of raw onion garnish with a tiny cup of dressing. They charge $9 for this. I eat out a lot, and am used to prices post inflation, but I have never come across so obvious a highway robbery as selling a half avocado for $9. FWIW they also charged $3 to grill the onions on my sandwich.

We stopped by for sandwiches and Cuban coffee. All the food was fresh and very good, and the service was outstanding. Relaxed outdoor seating vibe, with some options to get under a roof on sunny or rainy days.Parking: Street parking is available, particularly on the side streets...

I was blown away by this restaurant. The sandwiches were top-notch and the empanada was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning! Overall, I would rate the food 5 out of 5 stars.

I stopped at this restaurant before a backpacking trip and the food was perfect - just the right amount, reasonably priced, and tasted amazing even after being in my backpack all day. My friend and I both loved the food and we can't wait to come back again, as it's a place we regularly visit. The food definitely gets a 5 out of 5 rating.

No matter what you order at this restaurant, it will be delicious. During our five-day stay in Leadville, we dined here three times. The sandwiches are especially tasty and easy to transport thanks to the panini press, so no need to worry about messy eating. We would definitely return if we are in the area again. Overall, we give the food a perfect score of 5 out of 5.
