Das Sweet Shoppe - Leavenworth

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem while visiting Leavenworth! My boyfriend and I were planning on grabbing some ice cream at a nearby spot with only one vegan flavor, when we stumbled upon Das Sweet Shoppe. They had the most delicious churro I've ever tasted, and it was vegan too! They offered three different flavors to choose from, as well as vegan truffles. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and definitely worth a 11/10 rating!

At first glance, you might overlook the variety of vegan truffles in the display case. I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive selection. We ordered the lavender, lemon, and another one (possibly espresso) that was delicious and melted in my mouth. However, I was disappointed to find non-vegan options in my bag that the staff had mistakenly included. Fortunately, I was able to differentiate between my truffles and my friend's based on the decorations.

The restaurant only offered vegan options including a marionberry sorbet and various smoothies. While the sorbet was good, I was hoping for vegan ice cream, which does not appear to be available in this town.

Love the raspberry sorbet! I spoke to one of the managers, and they said that they might get more vegan ice cream options in the near future! They have a few vegan treats around the store (Theo chocolate, chico sticks, etc). Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

On the first look you can miss the selection of vegan truffles in the display. I was surprised by the great selection. we got the lavender, the lemon, another (espresso, which was great – melted in my mouth disappointed that the personal non vegan option put in my pocket. fortunately, I could say through the decorations that were mine not my friends
