La Javelina - Leavenworth

These are the best cauliflower tacos I’ve ever had! As a vegetarian, I really appreciated having such a delicious option. I added hot sauce to make it spicier, but it was already perfectly seasoned on its own. My friend ordered a bowl and absolutely loved it too.

I had the best lunch in ages! The food was really creative and delicious, and you can choose to have it in a wrap, taco, or bowl. I opted for the chicken molé bowl with polenta and topped it off with a selection of amazing house-made pickles. Chef Alvoro is a true genius! This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves Mexican cuisine, especially for travelers like me passing through. I'm a bit envious of the locals in Leavenworth for having this gem right in their neighborhood.

This restaurant has a very modest exterior as you arrive. I appreciated the variety on the menu, and the combinations of ingredients are quite unique. The flavors are incredible and everything tastes really fresh! The staff is friendly and welcoming.

I think the only seasoning used here is salt. The rice was way too salty (I didn't know people salted rice? and the bowl I got was a confused mish mash of near-random ingredients.

There was a huge lineup down the road, so we decided to try La Javelina and are we glad we did!We tried the recommended breakfast “three little Pigs” a burrito style breakfast 100% homemade and packed with flavours! The atmosphere and the service was flawless and very friendly.Do yourself a favour and stop in for an excellent coffee and start to your day.*dog friendly
