Sweet Taz Cupcakery Llc - Leavenworth

They truly made the most delicious cupcakes in the world. Unfortunately, I visited yesterday, February 2, only to find that they are no longer in business. The sign is still there, but another shop will be opening in their place. I'm really heartbroken.

We stopped in and got 3 macaroons out of the case. Thought it was odd that the girl working was pretty forward about prompting us to add a tip when paying. Walked out and realized we’d only gotten 2 of the 3 cookies we asked for. All 3 were cold and unenjoyable definitely just taken out of the freezer and not fresh. It’s too bad. This is a cute place and everything looks beautiful!EDIT to respond to shop's comment: We were not told to wait for the cookies to come to room temp. Please note in my review I wasn't upset about being charged (or not). It was more about receiving a sub par product and service and still being prompted to leave a tip. Thank you.

Always exceeds my expectations. My son, actually my entire gluten consuming part of my family, are addicted to their macaron, which are on par with macaron we have had in Paris. I had a delightful apricot jam filled cupcake with almond buttercream frosting, which is seasonal as they use the freshest in season ingredients. (Pet peeve, anyone complaining about not being able to get something out of season should both examine their life choices and shop someplace else, e.g. Meijer's or Toms for cakes) The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Great shopping experience every time I stop by, which is frequent.

I would highly recommend Sweet Tartlette for your wedding cake, or any sweet treats. She did my wedding cake, and it was delicious to say the least. The initial design was not exactly what I had in mind, and she even drove back to the venue to change the decor of the cake and make it exactly what I wanted. I was very impressed by that, even though I did not ask her to, she went out of her way to make it the perfect cake for me. She was lovely to work with, and I definitely recommend Sweet Tartlette!

I went to this lovely little bakery for a baby shower cake and was very pleased with the decoration but for 100 dollars I do expect a cake that is fresh and moist. This cake was very dry to the degree that all the guests commented on it. The cake tasted like it was made days before and the fresh decorations did not hide this fact. For this price point, I won't be going back.
