Stayed in Leavenworth for the weekend. Found this place on Google, amazing food and even greater service. Caitlin took care of us, gave us amazing recommendations (mushrooms crab cakes are a must for apps). The chef and Colin (the restaurant manager) stopped by several times to get feedback on the food and experience.A must stop if you are in the central Washington area.
Had a great experience. Started off with a staff wine recommendation, it was perfect with our dinner! Our entrees were well designed and executed.Filet and homemade gnocchi with fresh vegetables had an incredible blend of flavors. The Pork Shank was accompanied by roasted veggies and garlic mash was truly delicious. A homemade pasta with sauce was also enjoyed tremendously and passed a very discerning palate. Everything was fresh and special. Our server was lovely and the chef even popped over to our igloo to check in.The principle of the thing….The only downside is that you make a $20 non refundable deposit to reserve an igloo to dine in on their patio and then on your check you receive another $20 igloo charge. The deposit doesn’t go to that charge. I didn’t mind one or the other and I thought both was a bit excessive. It’s a cool experience with snow shoved around it, but it is the patio, five steps out the door, they are not trekking across a snowy field to serve you I tipped very well but I do hope that extra goes to the kitchen staff and not just to the cost of the twinkle lights. It’s a little silly to pay $40 just for the privilege of sitting in a plastic tent to be amused like children (which we are). We did it because it was a birthday and more unique. Not sure I’d pay $40 extra to do it again, but I would absolutely eat here again and happily part with $200 for another masterfully crafted meal!
We had a reservation for a group of ladies at Wildflour for a bachelorette party over the weekend it was a hit! I thought it might be a hit or a miss with the ladies since it was out of town, but it was well worth the trek based on the uniqueness of the restaurant, service, and quality of food and drinks. Pictured here is the Beef Tenderloin dish and lemon drop. The roasted mushroom appetizer, focaccia bread, brussel sprouts, and creme brulee were all DELICIOUS. The chef came out to speak with us, which was a great touch. One thing to be aware of, the outdoor (adorable) igloos sit 6 max, we had to adjust our reservation the day before due to an extra person, but the restaurant accommodated us and we had a lovely table inside. Do not miss this hidden gem of a restaurant if you're in the area!
