Ihop - Leawood

Good food, quick service and overall nice experience. Very large portion, be sure you are hungry . Excellent service, would definitely go again.

Waitress was very nice, but the only one there and overwhelmed. must have also one had one cook and I think the waitress was helping to get food out. there were only 4 tables with customers, but it took 30 minutes to get food after I ordered. had turkey and mashed potatoes, and the turkey was great. potato clump was just that. not edible. gray was ok, but cold. had enough bad experiences at enough different ihop locations that I won't try another. off my list everywhere, forever.

My husband and I went to this location last night after a movie to have dinner. There were 3 tables in the dining room, a 3 top who was already eating, a 4 top waiting for their food and one single guest that was being waited on when we walked in. We stood at the door for over 10 minutes without even being acknowledged before a gentleman came over and told us the dining room was closed because they were short staffed. I understand the staffing issue. I work in a restaurant myself but it should have been posted on the door. It would have been more acceptable had the restaurant been busy but 3 tables?

It's IHOP. If you have eaten at one, they are typically all the same. Nummy pancakes; terrible coffee. They only had flavored creamer or milk for coffee (that was weird). Server was great. And they know how to make crunchy bacon! ?
