Unfortunately it doesn’t appear my first experience can be counted on as a consistent experience. Second visit was mediocre at best and the food was cold, dry and flavorless. Tried one more time today and it was straight up gross. Biscuits and gravy were gelatinous with a slimy texture.I really wanted to like this place as much as I did the first time but 2/3 visits have been super disappointing (and expensive). Sadly, it’s time to give up on them.
We have been here several times and thought it a good choice. We went about 930 this morning (6-13) for breakfast. We were immediately seated and then NOTHING. People were in the booths in front and behind us and server was to there tables several times to refill coffe, deliver food etc. no one even looked at us. After 30 minutes of being totally ignored we left. NO IDEA what this was about but an embarrassing and unacceptable situation. Won’t be back.
Tried this place for the first time recently and loved the diverse menu that takes your traditional American breakfast favorites and adds a great south of the border spin that equates into some tasty dishes. The place has plenty of seating and even has a nice patio area.Kid-friendliness: Family Friendly
This used to be a great, and affordable breakfast location. However, the pricing on their website does not match the pricing in the restaurant. When you visit the restaurant it is easily 50% more expensive than it is with the pricing on their website. Part of the reason why we recently visited was because we saw the website pricing. So we were shocked when we got there and everything. Across-the-board was way more expensive. Even the pricing of the special was different on the menu than what the waitress had told us and billed us. They were just a lot of inconsistencies. The biscuits and gravy are fine. The biscuit is tasty but it’s very clear the gravy is Cisco gravy with some sausage added to it. It’s also not the most warm. The last time I visited, I had the fruity chimichanga and the inside was still frozen when it was delivered. It had to be sitting back. However, the food is tasty and the weight staff is friendly and there is never a line so there’s still a great and affordable place to come for breakfast.
Perfect combination of Mexican American favorites. The Migas were perfect. Loved the salsa. They beans were a meal in themselves. They cooked my eggs perfect. The French Toast was delicious. Can't wait to try lunch.Food: 5/5
