Amazing, delicious food! We all ordered a western omelet with sausage. We've all filled! The atmosphere is friendly, like family. We traveled almost 3000 miles last week, and this is one of the best places to eat in the country! Love it! HIGHLY recommend!
Simple Americana eats for a great price on the old Libaneon horse race, from which it gets its name. There is no question about this place is a local favorite, as there is a simple menu of items with hamburgers the goto meal. If Hamburger is not your first choice, sandwiches and fingerfoods like chicken pliers are just as well available. You don't come here for ambience, although the look is what you would expect. Just remember to bring cash, keep prices there by not using credit cards.
I tried it for the first time today, and the special was Fleischtau. As soon as I tasted it, my taste buds told Ma'am sign me! LOL I love the feeling of hometown and the food my husband and I had was great. I'm definitely back.
Walk in and you go back a bit in time. Some 4 top round tables and 2 top booths. The place reminds me of places in my youth that were not fancy, a bit worn, but good. Family run for 30 years, the service was ok. I sat by myself in the middle of the place so I was hard to miss. Once I ordered, Mom brought my coffee and my order followed about 10 minutes later. The place was just over half full in mid-morning. Although the prices seem cheap, you could spend 8-10 dollars depending on your appetite for breakfast. The kitchen is visible from the dining area so you can see where your food is prepared. Mine was prepared a bit overdone, but still tasty. Yes,the place could use some cleaning in places, but they have a health dept sticker in full view. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
