8/10 At 7/12/10 we had lunch at Don Perico in Grapvine/Lebec. We ordered a la cart tacos and enchilada and canitas burreto, which without beans and rice for $4 less than the combination plates. The burrito was very well wet ( sauce) with cheese and beans within 8/10. The beef taco was very good and not greasy 8/10. Beef Enchalada also very good 8/10. The free chips and salsa were good, but a little fat 7/10. Service was prompt (1/2 hours we did) but not an ambience. We spent $13 for the 3 a la cart. Overall a good value and an 8/10.
Large Mexican restaurant on the bottom of the hill. Lunch stopped and everyone was happy. The salsa was amazing and the food was delicious. I have the Muy Grande Chimichanga, this is a monster! I'm a pretty big eater and it was enough for two meals. I think it was just about $14! The waiter was great too!
This place is a hidden gem. While the building itself requires the redesign of staff and food are phenomenal. My wife and I traveled the country and were pleasantly surprised. Embedded here at the foot of the grapes of this place did not look like much. In the need of updating it is quite surprising. Let's start with Flavio. Smiling, whining and very friendly. The cook Jose was just as pleasant and the man could make a dish! My wife had the #13 combination. Her only complaint was that the court needed Hatch Green Chili instead of Anaheim Peppers. But the Anaheims were good. I had the Fajitas Mixtecas. They were perfectly seasoned and more than one person could eat. Thanks for the experience. We're coming back! On the bottom is the bathroom, while the food was great and the staff was friendly the bathroom and the building definitely needed work.
Excellent choice for a pit stop on our way to LA! Bartender was friendly, efficient, and fun! Food was exactly what we needed to get through the drive. Definitely will stop back by!
