Havana House Cafe - Lecanto

Much to my disappointment hub and I discovered that the Havana House is now closed, it will be missed. Debbie, Riverview, Mich

We LOVED eating at Havana House. However, due to the pandemic, Havana House was forced to close their doors and they are not open anymore.

Havana House is a secret gem tucked away in Lecanto. The location offers several classic Cuban cuisine options provided by an attentive staff. The restaurant location is small on the interior but the staff frequently moves guests in an out. If you are looking to sit outside there is a large sheltered patio area with seating available for large parties. The food is always consistent and leaves me full, and with extras to take home for later. I frequently order the classic Cuban with a side of yucca fries. The Cuban comes pressed with a side of home made chips. The fries are an appetizer that I commonly order to get the meal started. The fries come in a small basket and are recommended for one or two people, so be mindful if ordering for a group. I highly recommend ordering a Cuban coffee for desert!

Hadn't had cuban food for awhile..so decided to try HAVANA HOUSE CAFE..service and portions were great..... but everything was so SALTY.......one bite and you taste SALT ALL DAY..... won't go back.

Can't say enough about this place! the food, people and atmosphere are just wonderful!
