TGI FRIDAYS - Roxbury - LEDGEWOOD

Restaurant was quite empty without waiting, but our food took forever to come. We asked twice and said the kitchen was safe. I'd hate to see how stuffed it is when it's overcrowded. I guess they were just occupied.

Shade TGIF seems to be on the hill. Take advantage of walking, but I now have some bad experiences in some places. This visit was really a new low point. Our server while friendly was overwhelmed by the tables he had and his way to get an item at a time. We had to ask for three basic items for the food served. Finally, a side of vegetables and acidic cream for a Queensadilla AFTER EVERYONE was done to eat their meal. That was even after I found the manager who said he'd take care of it. Coupons were also applied incorrectly, but I did not have the patience to wait for them to be sorted out. I'm EXTREMELY understanding when I'm in a restaurant, but this experience was particularly bad. Oh, and I had a heavy stomach pain after booting. Not recommended and probably not return

Have dined here many times. Never realized it was on Open Table. Great news since there is usually a wait. However, when we arrived and told the hostess we had an Open Table reservation she said I don 't like Open Table reservations because people come expect to be seated immediately and that 's not always possible. I told her it was my understanding that even if there was a wait it would be next available that was okay by me. And then she stated it 's not like it gets you anything in the long run. She seemed surprised when I explained about the points you accrue the rewards. Someone needs to explain how the program works and she should be more welcoming to Open Table users.

Pretty good food. This location has pretty good service . Our food came out quick and was overall good. The server was attentive and friendly.
