Bodie Mike's Barbeque - Lee Vining

The outdoor terrace dining area is stunning! The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is outstanding, offering a diverse menu at very reasonable prices.

The food and portion sizes were satisfying. Bodie Mike's and the restaurant share the same owner, but, interestingly, the flavors are quite different. Many of the dishes at Nicely's next door are bland and lack taste. On the other hand, the service at Bodie's was also commendable.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast here, so we decided to return for dinner. The food was fantastic!

I had the Mother-Lode Burger and it was very good! It had burned bacon at the tips, but I am this type of guy who tastes the death and despair through the food slightly burned food. Fries were steakfries and fresh. Coleslaw was delicious. The barbeque sauce lacks taste and has a low viscosity.

Great pit stop. Whether coming or goin' its a perfect restaurant to unwind, listen to some lively music, chat with tourists, mountain climbers or dusty Bikers. Friendly atmosphere. Epic view. Outside dining. Dog friendly. (Berenger's my sidekick on this sojourn.. pretty good food....burgers, sandwiches, bbq and a decent salad bar. Good beer selection too. Then you can roll out and walk around the very quaint town. Get gas before ya get here.... paid $4.07/gal today. Oh well...its my personal Garden of Eden on this side o' the Sierras. H
