Whoa Nellie Deli - Lee Vining

We have been visiting Who's Nellie Deli for years, typically for dinner. We enjoy dining outside while listening to live music, though I'm not sure if they still host bands since COVID may have changed that. The food is delicious but somewhat pricey. They also have a wonderful store offering various food items, gifts, deli products, beverages, and clothing. The place is clean, and the staff is always friendly.

The Angus burgers and fries here are the best I've ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the staff was really friendly. Thank you for a wonderful meal! - AA

We have been dining here for several years. They never fail to deliver. The babyback ribs were outstanding. It fell off the bone. The other family members had their angus beef hamburgers. They were very satisfied with their selection. I would recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Despite being crowded on a rainy afternoon, we quickly got yummy burgers, fries, and coffee. The restrooms were clean. Only issue was a fair number of flies buzzing about.

I visited Woah Nellie Deli on my way back from Yosemite. I ordered the World Famous Fish Tacos and an order of fries to go. As other reviewers have said, it 's pretty pricey for a gas station eatery in the middle of nowhere but when you 're craving some good food there 's not a ton of options in the area besides this one. Their tacos are pretty good but a little bland. I do love the mango cubes paired with the fish but the fish itself needs a little seasoning in the fry batter. I feel like if they added some sauce in addition to the cabbage and mango it would elevate the dish a lot more. I 'd give them an 7/10. Their fries, however, are some of the best fries I 've had in my life. I believe they are beer battered which adds the perfect amount of crunch while keeping the inside of the fries soft. They almost have a hint of sweetness to them. They also have killer barbecue sauce to put on them. 10/10.
