Although it may not look like much from the outside, once you step inside, it feels like you're in Spain. We started off with a selection of breads while we waited for our tapas. We ended up ordering around 16 dishes between us, and every single one was delicious - kudos to the chef! Our waiter took great care of us and we had a wonderful experience with no complaints. Highly recommend this place.
Really wanted to like it here, it's near home and we love tapas. It's quite charming inside too. Unfortunately we ordered 7 tapas between 2 of us (other half has a big appetite! the garlic chilli prawns were a good size and tasty, but other than that it was below average.. Especially the calamari, this should be a staple in most tapas venues but it was hugely over battered, like cheap onion rings. The patatas bravas had crispy potatoes but the sauce was very bland. Need to really up their game to stand out against other local restaurants.
Still no gluten free bread after months of trading again following reopening, we were told in August that our baker can 't get the flour so we 're looking for another supplier and then last week we were given exactly the same words. There 's no excuse for not being able to find a good gf loaf in Leeds. Menus are like cheap takeaway menus with things scribbled out in pen and again we were told that the steamer isn 't working so no cappuccino. These excuses are ok once but when you return 3 months later and they are telling you the same thing it sounds like you are being fobbed off. Please if you 're going to charge quite expensive prices make the place the quality it used to be a couple of years ago...
We have visited this restaurant multiple times in the past and always had a great experience. However, during our last visit, my partner was interested in ordering a pizza but was informed that they had run out of dough, which was disappointing since that was specifically why we had come to the restaurant. Despite this, we decided to order other dishes instead. We noticed that other tables that arrived after us were able to order items like garlic bread and dough balls, which left us confused as to why they had those options but not pizza. Additionally, the pork belly we ordered was not the best. It’s possible that we just had an off night.
Despite being a group of ten our food arrived promptly and was delicious all round. The belly pork was especially good, as was the salted caramel ice cream cheesecake.
