At The Harewood Arms - Leeds

The Harewood Arms is conveniently located 20 minutes away by bus from my home. I enjoy the traditional and welcoming bar area, and I have no issues with the policy against digital devices or the limited selection of spirits and wines, as they cater well to my preference for non-beer ale. The menu offers a variety of options to suit all tastes, including my vegan partner and vegetarian daughters, who each have at least three choices. The dishes are a mix of traditional fare with some creative twists, and lunch prices range from £7-12 for generous portions. The staff are always friendly and efficient, even during busy times. Harewood itself is a lovely area for a leisurely walk, with bus stops conveniently located outside the pub for easy access to Leeds and Harrogate Ripon. The pub used to be closed on Mondays, but now serves lunch 7 days a week.

I recently attempted to get a table at a seemingly calm restaurant with my partner and 4-year-old daughter. We stood at the bar, but were essentially ignored by the staff. They walked around the bar without greeting us or even acknowledging our presence by making eye contact. This was extremely rude and we will not be coming back.

Oh deary me . Been for a dog walk with a friend called here for warm drink and get out the cold . Sorry no dogs allowed . Put dog in car . Coffee machine not working but I can make u instant one from kettle .. we ordered . No standing at bar was 2 big notices , no swearing was another big sign and no mobile or lap lops allowed was several other signed around the room .. it were like going back in the 60s .we felt we were transported back 60 years . What a crying shame as pub was beautifully clean and real fire glowing and toilets were outstanding … I won’t be rushing back

Third visit in 4 months, our special place! Had a fab time once again. Such lovely homely people! The coal fires were roaring. Taddy was great. Had vegan burger and chips( I'm not vegan) it was flavoursome.My partner had lasagne yesterday, then had a mini roast turkey dinner both tasty. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to eat and drink, nothing too much bother! Bed was particularly comfortable! ..we stayed for two nights and enjoyed an evening meal on first night..we were at a Wharfedale Grange Wedding so no other meal needed or we'd have dined again...Excellent service friendly staff..Thanks
