Kendell's Bistro - Leeds

This was my husband 's choice to celebrate his birthday. Our visit started with 2 glasses of complimentary prosecco which was a nice touch It also finished with 3 complimentary brownies wishing him 'bonne anniversaire '. We loved the French ambiance from the music to the various artefacts. We chose from the tea time set menu and everything was delicious the pate, the beignets, the chicken, the ham hock, the melted chocolate pudding and the cheese board. The service was just as good as the food attentive but friendly. I think this is our new favourite restaurant in Leeds!

We both enjoyed an excellent meal in relaxed surroundings. We will definitely be back.

Our second time here and it was just as good as the first. The food, service and atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend, especially for a romantic meal.

While I can see why people rate Kendell's so highly, it just missed the mark for us slightly. My better half described it as sitting at a desk at school due to the chair she had. The food was very good, but not amazing (to us). The staff were friendly and attentive, their service was professional and quick. The espresso martini was out of this world. We did have a div sat next to us, so maybe this has clouded the experience, but overall, despite being good, it was not quite what we had hoped it would be.

We had a lovely birthday evening. Excellent and atmosphere. The staff were ver6 helpful.
