The chips were hot and crispy, there were plenty of them, and the burger was delicious and substantial. For £5.50, it was definitely worth it. It wasn't greasy either, so I can finish this meal and either take a nap or head back to work.
I eat regularly from Lucky's their food is great especially the spicy wings and chips, pizzas are superb and the staff are very caring always try to assist you with choosing your food. I haven't tried the Ice Cream parlour yet but maybe this weekend's treat.
Person taking orders was really rude and I think it's such a let down to the business, food is ok not bad. Takeaway is really nicely done up.
Had heard of the salt pepper wings and chips were good so paid them a visit Tonight to start with the wings were dried up as they must have been made a good hr or two ago the chips were full of crushed chill like it was a garnish the only peppers in there were green and maybe only 3 pieces of it onions cut in big pieces no niblets in the wings so to sum it up if there best dish is a disaster like this so what would be there other food be like ? First and last time never again
We went to this restaurant last week. It's popular among students because it's close to the university. I was a little let down by the gourmet burger as it was a bit rubbery. They didn't have any diet drinks available. The fries were decent. It seems to be owned by the same person who owns the fortune cookie restaurant next door (the prawn chow mein there was good).
