Midland - Leeds

We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and were disappointed to find that many items on the menu were not available, including one that we had already ordered. My scampi was good with flavorful chips, but the portion of mushy peas was small. My friends liked their cod and chips and meat pie, although the puff pastry topping was too thick. They have a lunch special during the week, but it's not offered on Saturdays, so we found the food to be a bit pricey without drinks. If you're planning to visit for lunch, I suggest going during the week instead.

Nipped into the Hotel for a quick lunch, with my wife, daughter, diva spaniel and two year-old grandson. Not an easy group to please you might think ? At the Midland Hotel you are accommodated easily. A pleasant table, quick friendly service, really nice beer...(could have stayed much longer) and fresh, up to date, unfussy but really good quality food, all at a fair price. Loved this place, will return. You should try it, it's an absolute gem!

We stopped by for a drink on a hot, sunny day and found ample outdoor seating. As we were figuring out how to order, a friendly barman approached us and took our order, delivering it right to our table.

We popped in here for a drink, never been before, and it was really good. We just had our drinks and a good chat to the young man that served us, very friendly and helpful. We will certainly come here again for some food.

Had lunch here today was super for the price I had scampi and chips which was piping hot even though it was early and breakfast menu was still in use my partner had the chickpea spinach curry as a chef he said it was tasty...but would of thought it came with naan bread as well as the little poppadom we will be back again to try something else THANK YOU CHEF
