This place closes down on Sunday 21st July to be taken over by new management and rebranded.

A group of us went for a mid morning breakfast after some boxing. The location and venue are excellent. Also everyone enjoyed their food so I'd definitely recommend a visit.

Banyan been one of my favourite place since I moved from Paris,we live in Roundhay for 10 years and been to banyan few times but unfortunately today we had worst experience ever,terrible service,rude staff and not happy about the food what we ordered.its shame cause every time the sunshine out we have been there but from tonight it ll be in my blacklist places

The staff was rude and served us the wrong food. Instead of rectifying the mistake and bringing us what we ordered and paid for, they accused us of lying. The other manager was more understanding and apologized, but being called liars was a horrible experience. We paid for food that we never received. This used to be our go-to place, but not anymore. I feel attacked and treated terribly.

Could possibly do with a wider range of draft beers but a very well appointed modern bar with good service and atmosphere and sheltered outside seating. Haven't eaten there for a while but the food is pretty reliable, too.
