Silver Vase - Leeds

Shocking experience. We ordered all vegetarian food including wantons. We are all vegetarian in our family. We came back to eat the food and my husband bit into a wanton that was chicken. There was no debate about it, it stank of meat and looked different to the other veggie ones. When he called the takeaway his experience was atrocious. He was told 'mistakes happen ' and was offered no form of apology or compensation. I then emailed them and they have not even bothered to reply. This is a very serious 'mistake '. Luckily my husband was less distressed than if it would have been me that ate it. I 'm still trying to figure out ways to ensure people are aware of their shoddy 'mistakes ' and customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Another beautiful takeaway from silver vase. the food is delicious and a good portion too. definitely a place to go when you are hungry as the portions are lovely and generous. the staff are helpful and friendly. thank you.

The food at silver vase is always delicious. They are very friendly and comfortable. in the wild go anywhere else. definitely our family favourite.

It’s decent Chinese food but it could be better. We’d heard lots of hype about the place but I’m not sure it lives up to that. It’s local to us so I’m sure we’ll continue visiting. Don’t make our mistake too and get the crispy noodles they are basically just dry uncooked noodles. Never seen them come in such form before!

We ordered food for 20 people for my grandson’s birthday. We have eaten from here before and always enjoyed the food Some of the people at the party hadn’t eaten from here but everyone comment on the food as the best they have had and for the price we paid they was plenty and more . I would like to thanks all the staff but especially the owner for once again making my grandson’s birthday meal a fantastic one
