This has become our standard go pub when we visit the city center. the place serves a good selection of beers, which are well maintained. the personal is very attentive, nothing is always too much annoyed. I never have to wait a long time to be served. this pub has a traditional feeling and a fantastic atmosphere. I haven't tried to eat yet, but I was here yesterday and saw two amazing looking fish and chip dinner brought to a nearby table. Overall, the site offers a safe, relaxing environment where a few good quality pints sink.

Great pub a spit from the train station. great pub, great mood, great beer. I had ample quantities of the plant porter, and later danced half naked on the tables. No, I wasn't really, but if you could have an equivalent night with fun and frivolity, enjoy a beer so much. that's it!

My partner and I have been coming to Leeds for a mini break regularly in the last 15 years. We think this is the best pub in Leeds city centre overall and bought it was high time we left a review. Brilliant location, atmosphere, decor, food and most importantly, a well kept choice of ales. We had four different meals there between us over the Easter weekend and we thought it was the best food we'd had in a pub for a long time, every element was done to a high standard and good value as well. High praise indeed to the staff as well who are knowledgeable, very friendly and efficient. When we come back in July, this will be our first point of call as always.
