Students, cyclists, people working, chilling, friends with kids, reading, knitting by fire. Nice indoor/outdoor seating, people bring their dogs. Wider variety of menu including coffees, teas and smoothies. Big variety of seating options, cozy couch and chairs to bar stool seating. Lots of bakery snack options. Decor is more homey than artsy, and music is definitely more palatable than the weird/edgy stuff some others blare. Interesting balance they have created here, probably not the easiest to do. Hats off to owners. They have somehow put a pin in a sort of “comfortable place to meet up and hang out” genre. Ever been to a coffee shop that just seems to try too hard to be alternative, edgy and weird? This place seems to be everything but that.
Love this place. There's lots of choices when it comes to espresso lattes. Loved Nutella espresso very much
The Managers, all of them, are super nice and are willing to help you out. The staff is super knowledgeable on all the coffees they serve. The Owner comes by rather frequently and is super friendly to all the patreons- she’s down to earth and really cares about you. Every time I step into Gusto, I never feel like I walk into a coffee shop but a home.
Amazing coffee! Amazing atmosphere! Amazing vibes! Wonderful and kind staff! My favorite coffee stop in KC, it's a joy to be in and the baristas are like old friends each time we come. Absolutely need to visit every time I'm in the area.
I absolutely adore Gusto. I'm there often studying or meeting friends, sometimes I go there just to talk with the staff! It's always cozy, and though I've heard they have some great events, I haven't been to any of them yet. The coffee is delicious, the service is superb, and the atmosphere is warm : I will say... I miss the bigger comfy chairs. I liked to curl up in them to read!
