After our food didn?t arrive for an hour we asked our waitress about it and she was surprised we hadn?t received it yet, then told us the kitchen had forgotten about it. She only had 3 tables to take care of. Overall very strange and overpriced for this level of service.
My husband and I booked a reservation for Easter Sunday Brunch through Open Table. When we arrived, the host said we weren?t on the reservation list. My husband showed him the Open Table reservation confirmation. He made a call to someone, then disappeared for several minutes. When he reappeared, he asked if we were members, we told him no. He said the brunch was exclusively for members. We told him that was ridiculous since we had confirmation for our reservation. Once again
Had the grilled watermelon salad... that was unique but surprisingly was very filling and bonus guilt-free. There is normally a dress code but it seemed more like a business casual (bar and grill) type restaurant more so than a formal dining experience. It's right on the golf course and is part of the country club not attached to the main building of the hotel itself
Food was terrible. Drinks were bad. The service was good. But, I have had better steaks from Safeway. My Manhattan tasted like black licorice and my wife?s drink was horrible. The vegetables with my ribeye special tasted like they were raw. Ribeye was flavorless. My kid?s burger was dryer than the Sahara desert.
Ate here multiple times whilst on business. Great food both indoors and outdoors. Wait staff during lunch is young but willing to go the extra mile. If you get the steak, make sure to ask for it cooked a little rarer than normal. I requested rare but got medium. Delicious otherwise.
