Parking...on the road here can be a bit fiddly, especially in high season when there is a lot of staus (live them extra time for traveling), but it is easy, approx. 100 m to park at the bus stop. we had the 15.50€ menu; there was no à la carte menu at this time; many restaurants make a 15.50€ lunch menu I think napolean has decided that all citizens should have access to affordable meals at lunchtime. menu has three choices of starter, main course and gloom plus 250 ml of wine per person. we had the quiche asacienne, which like quiche larraine, but has choucroute inc saucisse in him, and the quesadillas that were slim (I make them far to thick;) beginners were excellent and we will try to replicate them home! the main course was Rougail-Saucisse and a crumb de lieu noir both were excellent. most people had ice for the gloomy, but we had the nutella tiramisu since it world nutella tag this was ok. wein was also fine house red. service was attentive, friendly, helpful and fast. for poor people there is a flat access in and within the restaurants and there is space around the tables; but although the toilet has a sufficient garderobe, the toilet itself was small and a little dense, even for a capable body with normal bmi. we have been in the past several times and have absolutely no hesitation to go back; we will wait until late mai when the à la carte menu returns, which has great food.
You need to book there is only one. we went twice (closed on Thursday) three curs lunch and wein for under 15 euro per person? amazing. friendly service. what not to like?
This little miracle was so good I myself and my friends went twice. When we first went, we didn't come in and had to book. The €15 menu is incredibly good. I thought the lady of the restaurant did the bill wrong as she did not add the wine, but the wine was included. A tuna tart was very beautiful. The second visit I had at €25 was also very good. The fish soup was delicious, although my main course of salmon was somewhat overcooked. Although I had so much in France. The location is beautiful and the lady of the restaurant very pleasant. Book for a simple but very good meal.
It's really hard to find something negative about this restaurant, especially if you stay in Le Canon or go through it. The service is excellent an ALWAYS with a smile. The garden on the back is really sweet and with the huge palm... Trees over you could be almost in the Caribbean! I had the 25 Euro menu, which is excellent for three courses. Nice fresh food and interesting dishes. Very recommended!
Stopped for lunch in Le Canon at Le Rouf while touring the Arcachon Bassin near Cap Ferret. The menu was pretty good value for the price the food was okay, nothing special except the dessert which was really good, and the menu included wine....The waitress was lovely and attentive to all of the 8 or 9 tables seeking lunch while we were there. I had boiled eggs halved and the yolks mixed with mushrooms and re stuffed, covered with béchamel sauce and browned (okay), then chicken Oriental (thin breast with a bit of cooked slaw and what tasted like a kind of warm peanut sauce (okay but weird), then pear flan (great). My husband had snails in a brown sauce (okay), then fish on rice (okay), then the great pear flan. The decor is nice with a nautical sense which suits the area well. I noticed several tables eating big plates of oysters maybe that's the thing to have here??
