She has been my regular bartender for years and she is so quick, attentive, always knows what you need before you do, and would genuinely do anything to make you happy during your experience here! Food was pretty good. Didn?t expect the chicken sandwich to come on toasted sandwich bread. Only one waitress late at night but she was cool
Next, I ordered an appetizer—Monte Cristo Egg Rolls. After waiting nearly an hour, I tried to get their attention. I was told that my order was two spots away in line. However, I watched several other orders get served before mine, so I eventually decided to give up and ask for my bill. When I managed to get someone’s attention to notify the bartenders that I was checking out, they surprisingly brought out my food just as they handed me the card machine. I asked for a to-go box and left. The ID checker at the front was really nice, and when I mentioned what had happened, he was shocked that they hadn’t offered to discount my order. I told him to make sure the manager was aware of the situation, thanked him, and left. Normally, I’m quite understanding of servers since I travel a lot for work, but this level of negligence was unacceptable.
The drinks were great, but at the end of our visit, the owner approached us because we hadn't left a tip on our card, stating that we wouldn't be welcome back. I had actually planned to tip in cash, but he didn't seem to understand that. The owner definitely needs to be more considerate toward his customers.
My server was friendly, and the nachos were decent, but I felt compelled to write a review because of my experience at the bar. I ordered an Amaretto Sour, a drink I typically enjoy almost every night. However, this time it tasted more like sour lime. I brought this to my server's attention, and she took it back to the bartender, who attempted to fix it, but it still wasn't right. I even looked up the recipe to show the bartender, but she disagreed and insisted it should be made with lime juice. She followed the recipe with one significant alteration—she reduced the amount of Amaretto so much that the drink resembled Sprite. It felt like she was making a point rather than getting it right.
